Brian Matthew Lewis

Brian Matthew Lewis, 42, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Sunday, February, 11, 2024. Brian was born on September 19, 1981, to Robert Craig and R. Janeen (Thrush) Lewis, in Brookville. Those that knew Brian, will remember him for his passion for sports, bikes, people, and spending time with family. Brian spent most of his days playing basketball, riding his bike around town, and even pulling all the neighborhood garbage cans from the curb. He could always be found in the winter in his Steeler jacket around town and in the summer at the baseball fields cheering on the Brookville Little League teams. He was always their biggest fan. Brian may have left this world, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were touched by his presence. Brian brought joy and love to all who knew him. He leaves behind a legacy of courage, love, and acceptance. In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by two brothers; Josh (Thera) Lewis; Travis (Tanya) Lewis; four nephews; Christopher Lewis; Blaine Lewis; Noah Lewis; Cael Lewis; and one niece; Adalyn Lewis. Brian is preceded in passing by his maternal grandparents; Ray and Tootie Thrush; and his paternal grandparents; Jim and Charlotte Lewis. Family and friends will be received on Thursday, February 15, 2024, from 2pm to 6pm, at the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will take place immediately following the viewing, beginning at 6pm, and officiated by Pastor Jimmy Swogger.
