Dear Jane,
I am so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. He was a wonderful man and I was so happy to know him. I so enjoyed working with him and he was a great mentor to me as a student teacher. Of course years and time got away from all of us and after his retirement I believe I only ran into him one time at WalMart. Please accept my thoughts and prayers for you and your family through this difficult time. Take care and may God give you strength and peace.

Jenn, Steph, Jane --
I am so, so sorry to hear about this. I know how difficult it is, and I want you to know if you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask. Jenn was here for me when my dad died, and I'm here for her (and all of you, really). You guys are in my thoughts. I know that those words seem shallow, but they're heartfelt. Many, many hugs.

Dear Jane and family,
I was so sorry to hear of your loss. I taught with Don at Eisenhower School.
Don was a great social studies teacher and really loved teaching about the Civil War. I’m sure his students will always remember the enactments and the realistic actives that he had them do. He had a great sense of humor and made teaching with him fun. He will be missed by a lot of people.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
