Anthony "Tony" Joseph Rend

Anthony “Tony” Joseph Rend, 84, of Punxsutawney, PA, passed away on Monday, June 1, 2026, while a resident at Christ the King Manor in DuBois, PA. Tony was born on June 26, 1941, to the late Joseph Anthony and Julia Marie (Lichvarcik) Rend in Cloe, PA. Tony was a musician at heart. He was an entertainer and played guitar and sang for many bands. He married the love of his life, Vivian Cho, in the early 1960s; Vivian preceded him in passing. Tony proudly served with the United States Air Force. Tony loved his music, especially country. He was multi-talented and was very artistic and creative. Tony is survived by one son: Desmond Rend; one sister: Grace (Joseph) Polito; and one brother: Nick (Deborah Peles) Rend. In addition to his parents and wife, Tony is preceded in passing by five siblings: Joseph Anthony Rend, Julia Marie Rend - Zambory -Tenon, Elizabeth Zook, Frank Rend, and Peter Paul Rend.
