Diane Marie Jewell

Diane Marie Jewell, 52, of Reynoldsville, PA, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023, while a patient at Allegheny General Hospital. She was born on October 31, 1970, in Norwich, NY. Diane was daughter to Joseph L. and Linda L. (Streeter) Brocious. She was an immensely hard worker and lent that work ethic to many businesses in the area including Goodwill, Reynoldsville Fox’s Pizza Den, and most recently, Wendy’s in Brookville at the Love’s truck stop. Her widespread employment made her very recognizable and helped her to gather many friends over the years. Diane married Joseph Jewell on August 8, 2014, in Reynoldsville; Joseph survives her. Even when not working, Diane stayed very busy with her hobbies and interests. She loved to work on crafts and was a very creative person. She also enjoyed playing pool whenever she was younger. Diane loved swimming, especially in her pool from the day it was set up, after she patiently waited for her husband to finish putting it together. Above all else, Diane loved her family and spending as much time with them as she could. Diane will be dearly missed by her family and community. In addition to her husband, Diane is survived by her father; Joseph L. Brocious; one stepson; Derek Jewell; two sisters; Debra Powers; Dorie Hoover; and three grandchildren; Lyza Hyde; Jolynn Williams; and Noah Siple. Diane was preceded in passing by her mother; Linda L. Brocious; one sister; Donna Powers; her son; Corey Williams; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
