Vickie Lee (Garner) Storey

Vickie Lee (Garner) Storey, 70, of Brookville, PA, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023, while a resident at the McKinley Health Center in Brookville. She was born on December 10, 1952, to the late John Robert and Miriam Elaine Garner. She graduated from Brookville High School with the class of 1970. Vickie married Donald Storey in 1977, they shared forty-six wonderful years together; Donald survives her. Vickie was the Brookville Borough Tax Collector for twenty eight years. She was a lifelong member of the Brookville Presbyterian Church, where she served as a deacon, elder, and trustee. Vickie was a member of the Jefferson County History Center where she actively tended to the Bowdish Railroad Display. In addition to her husband, Vickie is survived by one son, Adam Storey; one stepson, Robert Storey; two granddaughters, Adelynn and Harper; one step grandson, Luke Storey; and one sister, Susan Bish. In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in passing by one brother and one nephew. Family and friends will be received on Friday, September 1, 2023, from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the McKinney – d'Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA 15825. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2023, at the Brookville Presbyterian Church, 100 White Street, Brookville, PA 15825, beginning at 11:00am and officiated by Reverend Stanley Bhasker. Interment will take place at Brookville Cemetery, Brookville, Jefferson Co., PA.
