Linda Lou Hoffman of Punxsutawney, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2018 at Jefferson Manor, Brookville, PA   

She was born on January 1, 1939 in Punxsutawney, PA.  She was the daughter of the late John and Thelma (Smith) Lellock.

She graduated from Punxsutawney Area High School in 1956.  She was an avid antique collector and ran her own antique shop in the area for many years.

Linda married the love of her life, Robert Hoffman on July 3, 1957.

She is survived by her sister, Georgianna Chango of Clarksburg, TN. as well as her husband’s sister, Carolyn Ferreira, of Harrodsburg, KY.

She is additionally survived by her children, Roger Hoffman and wife Mona of Punxsutawney,  Tina Hackenberry of Punxsutawney,  Nina Reed and her husband Cheyenne, of Punxsutawney,  Beth Work and husband Rick of Hermitage, PA.

She is also survived by several grandchildren, Rob, Justin, and Amanda Hoffman, Cheyenne, Heath, and Logan Reed,  Isabel Hackenberry, and  Kyle, Cody, and Derek Work

Surviving great grandchildren include, Cassidy Fetterman, Camielle and Lorne Dinger, Monroe Hoffman  and Sidney Hoffman.

Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Thelma Lellock and two brothers Roger and John Ronald Lellock.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that any memorial donations be made to the First United Methodist Church, 301 W. Mahoning St., Punxsutawney, PA

Public visitation will be held from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM on Tuesday August 7, 2018 at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, 117 North Jefferson Street, Punxsutawney, PA  15767.   Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home with Rev Paul Ritchey officiating on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at 11AM. 

All services and arrangements are under the direction and arrangement of the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home, Punxsutawney, PA.
